Inspired by David Lynch's dreamy cinematic universe where the dark subconscious and violence are portrayed in fascinating contrast with humor and light-hearted Americana, Zeynep's Diner plays 1950s-1960s American music with homage to its pastel colors, whimsical melodies, wistfulness, and signature diner visuals. The band's repertoire is largely inspired by Lynch's Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks and features gems from artists such as Lesley Gore, Bobby Vinton, Paul Anka, Roy Orbison, Connie Francis, Connie Stevens, The Platters, and Linda Scott.
